Edward Redlich with Pinky Munz

Redlich sells Redland!

July 9, 2001 – Homestead, Florida — Ed Redlich of ComReal Miami, Inc.

has announced the sale of 8.66 acres at Redland Professional Park located

in West Homestead. The land sold for $1,131,963 or $130,680 per acre.

The park is zoned industrial with all utilities plus access to the CSX railroad.

Redlich represented the seller, Pinky Munz of The Redland Company.

“This is the sixth commercial sale in this neighborhood in nearly a year. I am very confident that commercial activity will continue to increase throughout Homestead. What I need now is more properties to sell.” says Redlich. Within Redland Professional Park there are two acres still available that The Redland Company plans to construct a ‘spec’ building of about 40,000 square feet. Both Redlich and Munz have more prospects and are looking for other “build-to-suit” opportunities.

“After searching three counties for a suitable site, we determined that Redland Professional Park best met our needs in terms of size, price and access to the CSX rail line” says the buyer’s representative. The buyer, an international light manufacturer, plans to construct a 160,000 square foot warehouse facility late next year. (This is two-thirds the size of the Wal-Mart Superstore in Homestead). The facility is non-hazardous and will operate 24 hours a day and 7 days a week and is expected to employ 65 to 85 local residents. Products from this facility will be shipped throughout Florida and Latin America.
