City of Sweetwater Florida Annexation

The City of Sweetwater has recently annexed over one square mile in Airport West Dade just west of the City of Doral. This area is mostly at the intersection of the Florida Turnpike and the Dolphin Expressway (SR 836). More specifically the annexation is bordered by Northwest 107th Avenue, Northwest 25th Street, the Florida Turnpike (NW 117th Avenue) and the Dolphin Expressway (NW 12th Street). The City of Doral borders on the north and east sides. The major commercial and industrial developments within the annexation are Dolphin Mall, Banyan Industrial Park and Dolphin Commerce Center, a 1M sq. ft. industrial park.
