He has received numerous commendations from Dade County Commissioners for his role in their Team Metro Pride programs and as host to the annual Dodge City Holiday party where each year 1000-1500 underprivileged children were invited to a day of free rides and entertainment. Currently he is a director of the Dadeland-Pinecrest Rotary Club, and has past participation with many charitable organizations including Charlee, Community Partnership for the Homeless, the Heiken Fund, Hope United, and many others.
